REFRIGERATION PROJECT GUIDES
Define Installation and Commissioning Support Before Delivery
Identify the project owner, local installer, equipment suppliers and technical support contacts. Assign responsibility for site preparation, utilities, installation, approvals and the project-specific startup plan.
Define who does what
Assign site and supplier responsibilities
Agree readiness and acceptance
Close the handover
Name the responsible parties
Confirm which tasks are included in the equipment supply and which require a separate service arrangement. Remote guidance, supplier attendance and local execution should each have a defined scope.
Agree the information required
Prepare a document list covering the applicable equipment instructions, drawings, connection details and control information. The responsible technical parties should resolve conflicting or missing information before work proceeds.
Use a shared issue record to track the question, relevant equipment, document revision, owner and agreed resolution.
Plan readiness and acceptance
The project team should agree the readiness conditions for startup, the people who will perform each check and the records required. Startup procedures must follow the selected equipment instructions and the responsible project professionals.
Performance review also needs defined operating conditions and a method for recording results. State the load, measurement basis and acceptance responsibilities in the project plan.
Close the handover
Record the approved documents, completed checks, training or guidance included in scope and any remaining items. Identify who will provide ongoing local operation and maintenance.
Discuss the support you need with Mechocool while the equipment package is being defined, so it can be considered in the proposal and schedule.
