Freezing and Storage Application
The Malaysia project combined seafood freezing with separate pre-freezing and frozen-storage areas. The application required a refrigeration direction that addressed the different room duties and their place in the production process.
Operating Requirements
The requirement covered the movement of product through freezing and into storage. Equipment selection needed to distinguish the duty of each area while keeping the refrigeration supply, room cooling and controls coordinated.
Coordinated Equipment Scope
Mechocool coordinated the refrigeration configuration and equipment selection around the freezing and storage application. The system composition included screw refrigeration equipment, an evaporative condenser, air coolers, a liquid receiver and controls.

Room and Installation Interfaces
Technical support covered requirement review, equipment interfaces, piping and electrical coordination, and installation and commissioning guidance within the agreed scope. The connection between the room equipment and the refrigeration package was part of the coordination discussion. Each operating area also required attention to its own loading pattern and control duty.
