Choose the access arrangement
A cold room door must suit the way people and goods move through the opening. Mechocool reviews hinged, sliding or other proposed arrangements against the room layout. Door selection should begin with the required clear opening and traffic pattern, then address insulation and operating accessories.
Send the door schedule
Include a drawing showing the wall construction, floor level and available space beside the opening. State whether traffic is pedestrian or involves handling equipment.

- Traffic frequency and product-handling method
- Surface finish, cleaning needs and power availability
Confirm the complete assembly
The proposal should identify the leaf, frame, seals, hardware and any included heating or control accessories. Ask for installation details at the wall and floor connections. Safety hardware and local access requirements need an assigned reviewer. Review sealing and frost-management provisions against the actual room conditions and traffic pattern.
