Seafood Freezing Application
The project concerned the freezing of sea cucumbers and tuna in Papua New Guinea. Its refrigeration arrangement brought together cascade circuits, blast air coolers and heat rejection equipment around the seafood processing duty.
Operating Requirements
The customer requirement connected batch loading, product core conditions and the intended freezing cycle. These process inputs provided the basis for considering the refrigeration arrangement and the air-side equipment together.
Coordinated Equipment Scope
Mechocool coordinated the system configuration, equipment integration and technical communication for the freezing application. The equipment direction covered the refrigeration circuits and the components needed to transfer heat from the product to the heat rejection system.
| Item | Description |
|---|---|
| Application | Seafood freezing |
| Location | Papua New Guinea |
| Refrigeration arrangement | Cascade refrigeration circuits |
| Heat rejection | Evaporative condenser |
| Air side | Blast air coolers |
Equipment and Site Interfaces
The coordination scope connected the cascade arrangement with the air coolers, condenser and control requirements. Installation conditions and the actual product loading pattern are relevant to how the complete freezing system operates. Site execution and startup activities form part of the responsibilities agreed for the project.
