An efficiency discussion needs an operating context. Record the required duty, operating hours, ambient conditions and load variation before comparing proposed configurations.
Ask which conditions each supplier has used and whether the available data represents a rating point, a calculation or a measured installation. Keep those evidence types separate in the decision record.
Review the proposed system
Discuss how capacity control, heat rejection and operating sequence fit the expected duty. The proposed equipment and controls need to be assessed together, including the information required from the site and the local service team.
A feature name does not establish an energy result. Ask how the feature is intended to operate in the specific package and what data supports the comparison.
Treat savings as a measured claim
A percentage reduction should identify the reference system, measurement period, useful cooling duty and operating conditions. Cost comparisons also need an agreed electricity-cost basis.
Where that information is unavailable, describe the selection objective and the method of evaluation. Avoid turning an expected benefit into a claim about achieved site performance.
Keep the selection record
