40,000 m³ Tea Storage Fresh-Keeping Project

This project involved the development of a large-scale temperature-controlled storage facility for tea products, with a total storage volume of approximately 40,000 m³.

Tea storage requires stable environmental conditions to protect product quality, including consistent temperature control and reliable long-term operation.

Based on the customer’s requirements, MechoCool coordinated the design and supply of a refrigeration solution maintaining a temperature range of 2–6°C for large-scale fresh-keeping storage.

The project focused on achieving stable cooling performance, high energy efficiency, and reliable operation for continuous storage applications.

Solution

To meet the requirements of large-volume storage and precise temperature control, MechoCool developed an integrated refrigeration system including:

Refrigeration System

• Two sets of water-cooled screw refrigeration units
• Shell and tube condensers
• High-efficiency air coolers
• PLC control system
• Electrical control cabinet

The system was designed to provide:
